21W.225/226 Advanced Workshop in Writing for Science & Engineering (ELS)
Designed for advanced ELS or bilingual students. Analysis and practice of various forms of scientific and technical writing for academic and professional contexts. Strategies for con-veying technical information to specialist and non-specialist audiences. Students use their own disciplinary research as content for assignments, e.g., a journal article, thesis proposal, or dissertation chapter. Enrollment limited to 18. No listeners. May be repeated for credit with permission of the instructor.
