Welcome to 8.07!

The physics content of the course is fairly similar to 8.022 for roughly the first half, covering
many of 8.022’s topics but introducing more sophisticated mathematical analysis techniques.

The second half of the course goes substantially beyond 8.022, discussing more advanced issues in
electrodynamics and electromagnetic radiation theory.
