a) Answering a Question for a Public Audience 

The clip below shows an example of an instructor using the Lightboard to answer a specific question (What is the universe made of?) as part of a video series making up a supplemental resource on OpenCourseWare called Cosmic Origin of the Chemical Elements with Prof. Anna Frebel. 

Notice how answering a qualitative question still involves drawing diagrams and taking up space on the board, with some pre-deployed content on the board to start the video. 

 

image for :bulb:Note that this video did involve some post-processing (i.e., the animated intro and outro sequences). Post-processing can make a Lightboard video more "polished," which can be a factor depending on the scale of your audience. In this case, the video was posted in a series on OCW, so the intended audience is larger and more public than for residential student consumption.
