Lightboard Studio

The Lightboard studio is a recording tool that enables users to produce short videos which superimpose hand-written content and annotations, along with digital images, over the speaker's image. To use this technology:

In the Lightboard studio, you are recorded through a glass window pane, where you can write or draw with dry-erase markers. By pre-loading content onto the studio computer, you can also superimpose diagrams and other visuals. You can monitor your image on a live screen and annotate diagrams with little need for post-processing.

This Lightboard Studio Training Module provides a walk-through of how to record a Lightboard video in the studio, including instructional best practices, use cases/examples, and how to prepare Lightboard videos for student access.
