Panopto Integration with Zoom + Canvas
On a newly created Canvas site, Zoom is enabled in the navigation menu by default. Here you can schedule meetings through the site and set them to record to the cloud.
When you do this AND have Panopto enabled on the site, the recording will automatically be pushed to Panopto after the meeting ends and will be accessible through the 'Panopto Video' section of the navigation menu.
To enable Panopto: Settings > Navigation > Drag and drop 'Panopto Video' to the top list, and click 'Save.'
Then click 'Panopto Video' from where it now appears in the navigation menu. A folder associated with this course in Canvas has now been created, and is where Zoom recordings will be available. From here, you can choose to further edit the recording and choose how to post/share it with students.
