15.385 Innovating for Impact
Do you have a business idea that could make the world a better place? Do you want to tackle big social and environmental problems with the tools of the entrepreneur? BAD NEWS, there are complex challenges in simultaneously solving public and private problems, and trying to create value for customers, investors, and society. GOOD NEWS: There are tools to help you sharpen your problem formulation, value proposition, business model, impact model, and funding and hiring pitch. MIT Sloan's Jason Jay teaches this course through tool-driven workshopping on ideas and live cases with social entrepreneurs. Launch from this course into winter/spring competitions like IDEAS, Food/Ag, Water, Clean Energy, Inclusive Innovation, 100K, and others.

15.132 Medicine for Managers and Entrepreneurs Proseminar
The goal of this course is to provide students with basic business oriented clinical and technological knowledge related to health, healthcare and medicine through engagements with clinical and industry experts. The course will meet once per week for a three hour session. Generally, each session will focus on a specific disease or technological area within medicine. Speakers will include a basic science and/or clinical expert in each area followed by a company CEO or other senior executive involved in cutting edge innovation in the designated area.
