Submit a "Project Proposal and Outline" in the format that you would submit a final paper to, e.g., ACM FacCT, NeurIPS, MIT SPR. You proposal should be 6-8 pages and include the following sections:
Topic: What do you plan to investigate? Be as specific as possible.
Purpose: What is your purpose in writing the report? That is, what problem or question will your information enable the reader to solve? What will your reader(s) need to know to understand the problem?
Research: What original research do you plan to do to contribute to addressing this problem?
Audience: Who is the intended audience? What is the target venue?
Timeline: Give a week by week break down of milestones for the project.
Responsibilities: For groups, responsibilities for each group member.
Organization: Please provide a breakdown of the sources you will need to support each section and the overall idea you have for that part of the project.
