In particular, see "How to prepare" there, since there are some things to do before classes begin, such as a pre-semester questionnaire and pre-semester reading to prepare for a diagnostic quiz on September 10.

For those of you who have not completed 18.100: I will not require you to request permission in advance to take the class, but I will expect you to do well on the diagnostic quiz.
